Top Gear returns this quarter with a brand new series presented by Jeremy Clarkson. Throughout the series celebrity guests, industry experts, racing drivers and car enthusiasts come together to give their opinion on new cars. The programmes will feature everything the car fan needs to know about today’s motoring industry. Alongside Jeremy, the other regular presenters include James May and Richard Hammond.
Wednesday 7th July
The Top Gear team is back for a new series of the motoring show that looks beyond the marketing gloss to offer honest opinions of the latest cars on the market. In this first programme, Jeremy Clarkson races his co-presenters from London to the south of France - they go by the Eurostar train while he takes the new Aston Martin DB9, so who will win? The two camshafts and the 1.8 litre, four-cylinder, 16-valve engine of the new Lotus Exige are also put through their paces.
Wednesday 14th July
With its own test track and a line-up of presenters who are genuine petrolheads with huge enthusiasm for new vehicles, Top Gear offers car fans everything they need to know about the motoring industry. Jeremy Clarkson and the team review the Cadillac Escalade, which its manufacturer claims is the world's most powerful full-size sports utility vehicle. They also look at the top of the range Alfa Romeo 166, and the 3.9 litre engine of Ford's Thunderbird car.
