Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo Competition (1000 hp)

Saleen is going crazy........they had the regular S7, that is 550 hp, then last year they came up with the S7 TT, which is 750 hp, and now one year later they have a 1000 hp version.

7.0 liter Twin-Turbo V8, 1000 hp, 2950 lbs, 0-60mph in 2.6 secs, top speed is 250 mph........price is not mentioned.

HOLY COW.... 2950 lbs and 2.6?????? Damn that's fast.

are u being sarcastic or r u serious? cause 2.6 secs for a 3000 lbs car with 1000 hp is kind of slow ...i mean specially if u compare it to the Bugatti Veyron. Veyron has abt the same power, but it's a 4000+ lbs car.......and can still go 0-60 in 2.5-2.8 secs i believe.

here is a list of production cars that are 1000 hp or more.....

1) Bugatti Veyron - 1001 hp (i think the car has been detuned to 987 hp now)
2) Saleen S7 TT Competition - 1000 hp
3) Weineck Cobra 780 cui Limited Edition - 1100 hp
4) SSC Ultimate Aero - 1046 hp

thats all i can think of now. if u know abt more then add.........btw, Hennessey Viper Venom has 1000 hp as well, but it doesn't qualify as a production car i guess, since Hennessey Viper is basically a modified version of the stock Viper by Dodge.
