depends on how much space u want. SLK is the smallest car among these three, and it can only sit 2 persons........so if u wanna go somewhere, and u have 2/3 friends with you, then u'll be out of luck. moreover, i think slk doesn't have much trunk space either. So, I think SLK is out of question.....unless u have another car in London for utility.......then u can get the slk for some fun.
Between M3 and S4........its a tough call. btw, u know S4 comes in convertible too.....right? so if u really want a convertible, u can go with S4 Convertible as well. btw, both M3 Convertible and S4 Convertible can sit 4 ppl.......and has abt the same trunk space i guess...M3 is faster than S4 regarding acceleration, but S4 is AWD, and AWDs are better during the rain or snow......but other performance are abt the same i think; like top speed, handling etc etc. Fuel Economy is better in M3 as it has an Inline 6 engine and S4 has a V8
but if u need more space, for example u want to fit 5 ppl in ur ride and want more trunk space, then S4 Sedan should be your choice........but if u want Convertible, either M3 or S4.......it is totally upto u. whichever u like more. but the current M3 design will be old pretty soon i guess, as the new ones are coming pretty soon, but the S4's design won't change in the next 4-5 years.......so regarding that, it will be better to go with S4.....but then again, when u tell ppl in BD what car u have back in UK, they'll be more happy to hear abt an M3, as S4 is not that popular in bd....infact, I doubt how many general ppl even know abt Audi...........So, if u care abt all that stuff, then go for M3.

well, it depends on personal choice. I like the SLK too, but when u buy a car, u just don't go for the looks or style, u have to think abt the practicality as well.....and SLK is not practical, unless u have another car for utility. Two seater cars are only for ppl who have a second car. If u'll only be having one car, then two seater cars aren't a good idea.

I would say you should go for M3 Salman. This car is amazing in everyway. Performance wise, looks, style, M3 got it all. Zoheb made a good point about M3. so think about it and don't forget to test drive all 3 of them. that's how you will know the diffrence and you can be able to make a good judgement. Good Luck.
if u buy a M3, are u going to buy a brand new one or used. If its new then its okay, but if buy a used one, then there are somethings you should check first. -
1.There was a serious fault with early M3 engines, which required con-rods, pistons or even the whole engine to be changed. Unsurprisingly BMW has kept this quiet and refers to the work for this defect as an so called 'engine enhancement'-call BMW customer service to see if this work has been done to the car you are looking at. If it has, you should be fine - there has been no recurrences with 'enhanced' engines. (Well from a source once I heard that Pintu bhai tried to change his M3's engine and replace it with a M5 engine is this info correct or can anyone tell whether he did the 'engine enhancement' to his M3?)
2.Its this that makes the official warranty so expensive(£1800) and it explains why I wouldn't recommend taking out a warranty with any other than BMW. (By the way does Executive Motors offers warranty option)
Other than that from my opinion I would recommend you to a four seater COUPE. Out of these three I would prefer the M3, Mazda RX-8 is also good to drive and practical. Or maybe a 6Series/330i Sport could fit the bill. But if you are really crazy about convertibles just go for the Mercedes SLK (280/350), its seats' can blast warm air at neck height encourages one to open the hood on the coldest of days(this is optional), this option really suits for people in england. Its really a seductive car, but Mercedes complex electrics do sometimes gives trouble, after all life is a compromise.
