the buildings were made on government property/without the proper paperworks. by demilising such he is actually cleaning up the country. Bangladsh has been listed as one of the most corrupt contries in the world, now the standing would be better and these actions would be looked favourable upon by the west and world bank. which means getting international loans would be subject to lower interest rates. all in all its in the positive step, people might make mistakes along the way but thats the price we should all pay to get out country in orderRyDiNg-DuTty wrote:yeah he's doing a good job ! destroying a developing country, demolishing buildings etc, soon bangladesh will be like africa..Sad..

your comment is only heard behind closed doors now, samar.
by demolishing these "ONE STOREY" markets..hes taking away the livelyhood of many of the shop owners in that plaza. some of their families depend on nothing but that store which means an increased rate of unemployment.
now theres more unemployed people roaming the streets. you tell me is that a good thing or a bad thing? more people cant afford to live..fakruddin ahmed is a dumba** who doesnt know what to do except arrest the corrupt and seie their cars.

empire, i 100% agree with what you are saying. the CG is touching too many things at the same time, when they lack the ppl and the resources. lots of ppl are going homeless, small business are shutting down. CG should now catch the ppl who were involved with the approving illegal lands and businesses. these innocent ppl were also paying taxes, they were paying the electricity, gas etc bills. how could the govt approve trade license, tax, gas, electricity, etc when they were on illegal plots/building?
but the corruption thing was gone too far. too many ppl were getting rich overnight. to get rid of corruption from the root level drastic measures have to be taken. and thats what 'seems to be' going on. there will be negative backlashes when something like this take place. CG has shaken things up and put fear in corrupted ppl. they will think twice before doing anything "bad".
if things go on like this, in the short-term ppl will face difficulty, but in the long term Bangladesh will have a 'future', InshAllah.
