I can't give u much details abt the Carina GT since I don't live in BD, but i can atleast tell u that, don't get the Ti.. get the GT. the GT is a lot better and faster. and i think the GT comes with 3 types of engine displacement. 1500cc, 1800cc and 2000cc(not sure though, heard from someone)... and obviously there will be a price difference for the engine displacement. so whichever one u want to buy. depends everything how much u wanna spend. and I think the Ti's cost less than the GTs. but i would prefer spending more money and get the GT instead. Ti's are very common as well. its everywhere on dhaka streets. I was in dhaka over the summer 2004. and was there for abt 2.5 months. and there wasn't a single day i didn't see the Ti on dhk streets. even if i get out of home for 10 mins, I would still see one. GTs have nicer alloys than Ti as well. I didn't drive the Ti, but drove my aunt's 98/99 GT. It's 1800cc i think, and automatic transmission.....but still its pretty fast. redline at 8000 rpm.....so the car makes good noise too. and looks very sporty. So my suggestion would be.....Get the GT!

8 Lakh is good enough for the GT. my aunt's one cost 10 lakhs when she bought it in 2001 i guess. so 8 lakh now sounds reasonable......or may be it should cost less now. i seriously don't have any idea abt car prices in Bd.

my neighbor got a ti fr arnd 10 laks, iguess the gt will cost more than 8 laks. n by the way if u get a gt y do u wanna get an auto transmission- if u really wanna get raw power frm the gt, get the manual transmission.its much much better... more control n it really boosts acceleration.
