Altezza (IS200) vs Civic RS

I was coming from Gulshan 2 circle today (or at least where the circle used to be) and saw a silver Altezza and a red Civic RS racing each other. Judging from the acceleration of the Altezza, i could tell that it's got manual transmission. They raced till Candyfloss and the Altezza smoked the Civic RS. Then I saw the driver of the Altezza when they stopped at Candyfloss and he's actually a good friend of mine. The car was delivered to him today and I was right, it's a 6-speed manual, the only one in Dhaka as he told me. If anyone of you fancy racing this car I'm sure my friend will accept the challenge.

that must have been some race. altezza is a pretty good car. and its much more faster then civic rs.
well pppl drive carefully, life is more precious then a car

yes i also saw that race. they stopped at candyfloss. it was one race. both the cars were speeding. i came to dhaka after a year n it's a pretty big change. i really liked wat i saw.

heh...good question...

the owner of the Altezza told me yesterday that he bought it for 12 lakhs. but then, another friend of mine who knows the guy who sold the Altezza, told me that it was sold for 10 lakhs and 20 thousand.

i'll try and get more info as i will be seeing both of them tonight.

Dude u must be out of ur mind!!! Ur either on drug or u dont know shit abt cars. Alezzas are priced from 18 lakhs to 24 lakhs. U get shitty fucked up altezzas for 18Lakhs. So I can only guess wat ur friend bought for 12lakhs.

tamzeed...he bought the altezza for 21 lacs...he doesnt like telling the price...i was there when he bought it....i think u can guess who i am now...dont talk about something u dont know....do u know the name of the seller?? n he cant be ur friend.

u just said that the owner doesn't like to disclose the real cost of the altezza. y did u let the whole world know the price then?

and even if he told me it costs 12, 14 or 15 lakhs and hid the truth....it's performance doesn't change, it'll run like a 21 lakhs altezza. so chill man....nothing to worry....

and honestly, prices of altezzas are not among my interests....u should check it out in my profile.

since i was asked me wat color the altezza should be painted...i suggest u paint it midnight blue....i saw an IS200 of with that same color yesterday and it was a beauty.....

yesterday, 2 things happened. i'll not disclose the first one.

the second one.....i came back to my hotel in the afternoon to find my ULTIMATE dream car parked in front of it.

It was a Black 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0

amar matha kharap hoye gese ota dekhe. took a lot of pics. i'll post them when i get back along with some info on that car.

what does it matter how much the altezza cost the kid... if if you even know the owner or not... the fact is the guys got a cool car and he smoked a civics ass (which is pretty sad) cos im a honda freak.

Dude y would i be afraid to sign in? I posted the message as a guest becoz i didnt have an account back then. Im sure that ur friends altezza can beat a civc , im sure all altezzas can, but thats not the point the point is i have seen a few altezzas with manual transmissions in dhaka and as a Mod u should check ur info before posting them. U dont get altezzas for 11,12,13,15 lakhs. I know that the price of altezzas doesnot interest u but that doesnt mean that u should post sth thats not right or true.
