BBC World's weekly motoring programme reviews another set of new cars, including the sporty Mazda 3, which is slightly larger than the Protege it has replaced. Rover's 4.6-litre V8-powered MG ZT 260 and the latest model from BMW's 6 Series Coupe range, the 645Ci, are also given the once-over by Jeremy Clarkson and the Top Gear team. The latest versions of the Vauxhall Astra and Volkswagen Golf are tested as well.

Top Gear returns this quarter with a brand new series presented by Jeremy Clarkson. The programmes will feature everything the car fan needs to know about today’s motoring industry. Alongside Jeremy, the other regular presenters include James May and Richard Hammond.

How will the new Land Rover Discovery cope with being driven up a mountain by Jeremy Clarkson? Find out as it receives a thorough review in the unique, offbeat style for which Top Gear is famous. Also on this week's programme, Dodge describes its Viper SRT10 as "the ultimate American sports car". It's powered by a hefty 8.3-litre V10 engine and looks very sleek, but is it worth US$85,000? Plus there's all the latest news from the motoring industry.

There are only 40 Zonda Roadster cars in the world, each of which sports a 7.3-litre Mercedes-Benz AMG engine and is made-to-measure, according to its owner's demands. It sounds impressive, but will the Italian manufacturer's lovingly-crafted vehicle stand up to the Top Gear test? Join Jeremy Clarkson and the team to find out what they think of this, and the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish, which already has a two-year waiting list full of drivers desperate to buy it.

Volkswagen's new Golf GTI model gets a good review on this week's edition of the motoring programme: tune in to find out why Jeremy Clarkson and the team are so fond of the car. The Jaguar S-Type Diesel is normally meant for everyday roads, but how will it cope with being driven around the Nuerburgring in Germany, home to the annual European Grand Prix in the Formula 1 racing calendar?
