I'm not sure if that was actually a CL65 AMG......cause the trans Am was smoking the Benz initially......after a certain point the Benz takes the lead....If it was the CL65 AMG, it should have given better performance....I think its a CL55 AMG.

Looks like AMG alright, but hard to tell whether its the CL55 or the CL65. My guess is that it'd be the CL65.

The main reason for the initial trail back of the CL is because CL is an auto transmission, whereas the TransAm Might be a manual.

man! auto transmissions are suppose to have faster acceleration initially.....then it slows down at higher speed.......

I saw this video of a SL55 AMG and a C5 Corvette Z06 doing drag.....the SL had a lead initially.....after a certain point the Z06 smokes the SL55 AMG.

and in this video, if that was a CL65 AMG, i think it should have a given better performance....cause its faster than the SL55 AMG......and i don't think the trans Am would be any faster than the Z06. :roll:
