My car starts to shake when I accelerate gradually but when I accelerate quickly(full throttle) the car goes fast but does not shake I thought it was an alighnment problem but 1 driver told me that I need to change the whole suspension system Do I have to? 'cause it's too expensive for me to do right now(18000+excluding shocks and springs) I won't change the suspension setup unless I'm sure.

if it shakes during idling then it's most probably your engine retension mounts. But i have a feeling its your ignition, have your cables, plugs, distributor checked.

Do not know what u mean by it floats around. Take it down to nippon service centre and ask for their head mech rippon, tell him u have recommendation. he'll give you proper advice. There might be a nominal charge tho if u do a suspension check up.

if its shaking at higher speed......like 80 or 100 km/h.....then the most common problems are the tires and the alignment.

yes i think so too.. but if its shaking when the engine is accelerating slow then its not the alignment, maybe the ignition

Hey, your problem really seems to be on da suspension. The CV joint or the ball bearings to be specific. My other car had the same problem.... I got it fixed from the workshop.... they repair this stuff if u wanna go real cheap (abt tk1000) or get new parts (just the ones that are damaged not the whole suspension system).
I hope it helps.... take care

can be anyone of the following:
1. damaged ball joints
2. damaged shock absorber
3. loose shock absorber mounting
4. worn or damaged bushings
5. imporer wheel alignment
5. malfunction of steering system
6. damaged or unbalanced wheels
Good luck!

if your car starts to shake once it gets over 80km/h then i think its a problem with your steering wheel not the wheel i mean the system its self
or try a set of thick tyres on your car around 255/55 that might solve the problem another solution is to get your shocks checkd

it can also be the control arm and the shock mount or the bearings .......or the tires and the axle have to be tightened or the bolts have to be replaced....or the coil springs been moving around..

Get the suspension, and wheel balancing checked... go to nippon for it ... they'll tell u what the prob is they do both the checkups there.
If its the suspension get it repaired unless it hasn't been done once before... it'll be a lot cheper but wont last that long. My rollas repaired shocks lasted me 2weeks :( but the suspension lasted a good six months. I had a similar prob in one of my cars... i didnt balance the wheels after getting a new set of tires... i know it sounds weird but aparently the balance was off when i put the new tires on.
