AS of today, saturday the 24th sep. 12pm

Hurricane Rita, with maximum sustained winds down to 75 mph now, is churning northward through extreme eastern Texas. Rita, as of 10 a.m. CDT, was centered near Jasper, Texas. The hurricane, although weakening (Category 1), remains dangerous. Damaging wind gusts, torrential rain and isolated tornadoes will accompany Rita as it continues to churn northward for the next 24 hours.

damn...u kno y are all this happenin...cuz the ppl over there doesnt trust allah at all .....so allah is just showin them the trailer i say plz pray 5 times....and for the RITA is it at CATEGORY-1

shams, please don't bring religion into a game of mother nature. MOst of the people in United States are not Muslims. including myself. I don't want to discriminate anyone or his/her religion. but i wish we can put the religion a side. and talk about cars. Hope you all, speacially shams will understand.

no 5>3, so its smaller or less powerful. Category 5 is more stronger than Category 3

amader deshe hurricane signal hochhe 1 theke 10 porjonto.......ar ekhane hochhe category 1 theke 5 porjonto. so category 5 basically means "10 number signal"

there is no category 10..........the category only goes from 1 to 5. Category 5 is the most dangerous. its like "10 number signal" in our country.

rita was a tropical storm instead of a hurricane. They still call it hurricane rita though.
